Day 4 - A walk on the wall

Our small but humble tour group.

We got up at 6am to eat our buffet breakfast before we headed off to the great wall.  We were all struggling it from the already busy day we had yesterday.
Eating away..im struggling it.
Anthony and James being...Anthony and James.
Weird but very nice buildings.

Our first stop(after picking up the other people from there peasent hotels) was the Ming Tomb. A rich and considerable amount of history envelops this place and it was really interesting listening to our guide Ken talk about it. There was a lot of artifacts from the third emperors reign.
The tomb map with Ken..maa man.
Emperor big dog, his unofficial official name.

Later they stopped us at the jade factory which is owned by the government. It is where they produce many great and grand jade jewelry and sculptures. Some where really nice but way out of our paygrades - combined.
Masters at work.
Massive jade sculpture, incredible to see first hand.
Jade feature wall upon entry.
Eating some chinese food with our group, even I liked it. Delicious.

Here we are at the Great Wall. Key word "great". Words will never do it justice it must be seen to be appreaciated. Its massive and at times incredibly steep. We walked up the shorter but steeper side because, well we arnt pussies. Here is a couple of short videos strung together with me giving you a very simple tour of what we saw. It really is a great wall, in all sense of the word.
The boys, taken by our german friend Ralph.
Us trying to be serious communists.
Sharbel just couldnt betray his capatilist roots. Capatilist pig.
Another wide shot of the wall.
The wall in all its glory, seen better days though.
I managed to get this picture without it flying away. Relevence - Zero

We ended with some sort of tea ceremony, it was nice in a touristy kind of way. We got to taste four kinds of teas and were given information on the tea heavy areas of China and Burma. Also im pretty sure it turns into a brothel at night, just sayin.
The shop proper slash brothel.
Our tea expert, her name is Star
Seriously though , Star
..yep, still Star.
