"The Forbidden City It only 2km away we can walk it" - Vince Taouk

On our first day we decided to go see the Forbidden City. Because Vince served drinks to a chinese guy once at the RSL, he procalimed himself our expert and leader. This leader would later advise Anthony to pay 50 CNY for a bottle of water (usually 1-2 CNY).

Vince studied the map and let us all know that the city was very close (15 min walk) down the road and a taxi is not required.

Here is our jouney for the first day. A to C is about 8km

We set out for the Forbidden City.

After about an hour of walking we met a english speaking man with a bike who volunteered to guide us to our destination

This is when we got the fuck out of there

Right this way guys, the forbidden city is right in here back to square one

This friendly man offered to guide us to our destination hmm something doesnt seem right The forbidden city is around here somewhere

After realising the guys house (james actually went inside) was not the forbidden city we kept going.

We eventually made it
